The Project Manager – Process Engineering postion at MedVenture Technology is responsible for facilitating in the design transfer and manufacturing line transfer activities while ensuring integrated process development within MedVenture Technology
The purpose of this position is to facilitate in design transfer and manufacturing line transfer activities while ensuring integrated process development within MedVenture Technology.
- Provide leadership, goal-setting, communications, and facilitation skills to guide and motivate project personnel.
- Manage external contractors and vendors to ensure completion of projects per the agreed upon milestones and within budget.
- Identify and manage resolution of potential deviations from the quote/contract, Project Master Plan or other project documents.
- Perform and manage risk assessment relative to the customer and MedVenture.
- Identify and recommend appropriate resource allocations from all areas to support the project requirements and monitor their utilization/efficiency.
- Manage internal billing activities for customers.
Communicate project progress and updates to customers and MedVenture management
- Communicate with customers on a regular basis (as required) and provide monthly updates to MedVenture Management.
- Ensure customer issues/deviations are resolved and documented in a timely manner.
- Document project and team meetings minutes and distribute to appropriate management.
- Communicate variances in project budgets, plans and schedules with customers, Business Development and Management. Negotiate necessary changes with customers.
Support new business opportunities
- Assist Business Development to evaluate new business opportunities.
- Coordinate/develop quotes and work with Business Development and Program Management to close deals.
- Support contract development for manufacturing transfer projects.
- Assist/Coordinate with Business Development negotiation on project variances.
Financial Management
- Track and manage budget performance
- Identify and optimize processes to reduce costs
Employee Development
- Coach and mentor Product Development and Manufacturing Associates.
- Effectively manage/influence employees to achieve business results.
- Ensure team personnel are trained appropriately to support activities.

Job Requirements
Job Experience
- Minimum 7 – 10 years of process development/project management experience in the areas of product/process transfer to manufacturing.
Education
- Bachelor Degree in engineering with 7 – 10 years of medical device experience.
- Certified Project Management (PMP) preferred.
Physical Demands
- Periodic travel may be required.
- Extended hours
