Meet or Exceed Customer Milestones
- Manage and Allocate Resources to projects
- Work with Business Development to determine customer commitment
- Track and Measure Performance
Provide overall direction for product development teams.
- Provide leadership, communications and facilitation skills to guide project personnel.
- Develop and manage the Project Master Plan.
- Ensure document design and device reviews are performed and documented.
- Ensure appropriate resource allocations are available from all areas to support the project.
- Responsible for tracking, monitoring and managing direct report project and work hours.
Communicate project progress and updates to customers and management
- Ensure customer issues/deviations are resolved and documented in a timely manner.
- Maintain and track project budgets, plan and schedule. Communicate variances with customers and project leaders. Negotiate necessary changes with customers.
Support new business opportunities
- Assist Business Development to evaluate new business opportunities.
- Support Business Development and company to complete assignments, which meet critical deadlines, and any endeavor the company deems necessary to meet defined strategic and tactical goals.
- Complete necessary development documentation and support quoting activities.
Financial Management
- Track and manage budget performance
- Identify and improve processes to reduce costs.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 8-12 years of qualified business management experience in the areas of project management, financial management, and human resource management.
- Well-rounded technical experience in medical product development and manufacturing disciplines.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage employees to achieve business results.
- FDA Quality System Regulation and design control experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
